It was about a woman teaching a kid how to say Wa-Waaah-Water!! It was far, far superior to this rubbishy schmaltz tagged "King's Stutter." It's an embarrassment to find it nominated as Best. Best Kaka.

For many cinemaddicts "Somewhere" belongs among the top 5 films of the year. It's an intelligent, sensitive European art house-styled look at the banality of life in Hollywood. With little dialogue and long, steadfast shots, "Somewhere" is cousin to the ennui films of Antonioni ("L'Avventura," "La Notte"). A likeable performance by Stephen Dorff as a Famous Actor and a knockout turn by Elle Fanning as the daughter he bonds with.
